Party Packer

Women At Risk, International is searching for a Seasonal Party Packer (August thru January) to fill one (1) part-time position 15-20 hours per week (flexible schedule). The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting, scanning, packing, and shipping product sold at in-home parties and other events.

Responsibilities

• Maintains daily communication with the Event Product Lead
• Picks, scans, packs, and ships product for upcoming parties and events
• Processes and scans unsold product returned from parties and events to be added back into inventory
• Maintains internal tracking records for party & events in our inventory and event records systems
• Handles the financial needs of the party or event including tax codes, preparing tills, and delivering finances from completed parties and events directly to accounting as needed
• Prepare returned product for put-away
• Assists with annual physical inventory counts
• Other inventory and event-related duties as needed
• Perform other duties needed to assist and drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented, flexible, capable of working independently, and possess financial integrity
• Physically able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time as well as lift packages and bins of product up to 30 pounds
• Basic computer skills required. Training on job-specific software and systems will be provided
• Promote the ability to work in a team environment while also working independently to accomplish department deadlines.
• Comfortable working with a faith-based donor base and constituency
• Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and One Drive.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position (standing or sitting for extended periods)
• Ability to lift and move merchandise (up to 50 lbs)
• Ability to bend, reach, and walk throughout the shift

Work Environment

• This position is an on-site position at our 44th Street location.
• This position is not remote.
• This position is largely based indoors in an office environment where employees spend most the majority of their time working on computers.
• Regular interaction with co-workers, volunteers and customers is expected.
