Office Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support our litigation team. This role is critical to the successful handling of personal injury cases. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
- Schedule depositions, hearings, client meetings, and other case-related events
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely filings
- Provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred
- Prior legal or personal injury experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software a plus
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
