Starting Salary; $45,000 with a Bachelor's and $50,000 with a Master's

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree from an accredited school of Human Behavioral Sciences such as Social Work or Psychology preferred, Bachelor's degree required. Must meet the required experience as specified within the state of Michigan’s licensing and contractual rules and expectations. 
• Working knowledge of Michigan’s Child Welfare system preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.
• Valid Michigan drivers and chauffeur's license or ability to obtain chauffeur’s license.

EMPLOYEE INCENTIVE

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide Foster Care Case Management and Permanency planning services to assigned recipients of care, birth, relative and foster families.
2. Advocate for the needs of all assigned recipients of care and families.
3. Responsible for the provision of quality Case Management performance. Must successfully meets and or exceeds all licensing, contractual and agency performance standards.
4. Support the Wolverine Human Services Mission Statement and present the agency and its clientele in a professional, ethical and positive fashion.
5. Adhere and follow all case related court orders.
6. Maintain a professional, supportive, confidential and therapeutic atmosphere for our clientele, co-workers, community partners.
7. Must be available and willing to respond to agency/recipients of care related needs on a twenty-four hour basis.
8. Participate in Quality Assurance activities. Assist with the compliance of performance based corrective action plans (CAP’s).
9. Completes all documentation in the time frame required by DHHS, the court and Wolverine Human Services.
10. Adhere to all required protocols regarding Confidentiality and Ethical Standards.
11. Ensure that all agency records are maintained in a safe and secure manner.
12. Demonstrate proficiency in WHS technology platforms and applications.
13. Participate/attend and complete all required contractual, licensing and agency training successfully.
14. Function as a mandated reporter, as required by Michigan Child Protection Law.
15. Facilitate/attend all required meetings.
16. Other duties, as assigned.
