Job Overview
Wolverine Electrical Contracting is seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Coordinator to support our growing electrical and generator divisions. This position plays a key role in coordinating residential electrical projects, scheduling field crews, managing communication with homeowners, and assisting with generator project logistics from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional with customers, and able to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced construction and service environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules for electrical crews, generator installers, and service technicians
- Communicate directly with homeowners regarding project scheduling, updates, inspections, and service appointments
- Pull permits and coordinate inspections with local municipalities and utility providers
- Order generators, materials, and project-related equipment for the generator division
- Track project timelines and ensure projects stay on schedule
- Assist with job file setup, documentation, and closeout
- Coordinate with project managers, field staff, vendors, and office personnel
- Support service dispatching and routing for generator and electrical service calls
- Maintain accurate project records and customer communication logs
- Assist with warranty and service follow-up coordination
- Help ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction coordination, electrical contracting, service dispatching, or project administration preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working with permits, scheduling, or construction operations is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and computer systems
- Experience with generators, electrical projects, or home services industry preferred but not required
