Responsibilities
- Cleans and prepares construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards.
- Loads and unloads building materials to be used in the projects.
- Builds or takes apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures.
- Operates or supervises equipment and machines used on projects.
- Assists skilled workers with their duties, as requested.
- Follows construction plans and instructions from supervisors and completes assigned tasks.
- Identifies and offers solutions to problems, especially with safety.
- Conducts daily checks of equipment and safe operation procedures.
- Ensures new employees are familiar with WBG safety procedures.
- Cleans work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.
- Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have reliable, consistent transportation.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum of one (1) year relative construction experience.
- Already or willing to become trained in:
- OSHA 10-Hour certified
