Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Ford and non-Ford vehicles in a fast-paced, high-volume shop. Key Responsibilities
Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and air conditioning
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to identify issues accurately
Communicate directly with Service Advisors regarding vehicle status and recommend additional services when needed
Provide clear time estimates for additional repairs and explain findings as needed
Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines and documentation requirements
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all dealership safety policies
Qualifications
2 years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification preferred
Ford Certification
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
