Part-Time Warehouse Coordinator – Generator Division
Location: Brookfield, WI
Schedule: Approximately 20 Hours/Week | Flexible Hours Between 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Are you a dependable, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working independently but can jump in as a team player when needed? Our Generator Division in Brookfield, WI is looking for a Part-Time Warehouse Coordinator to support our sales and rental operations by keeping equipment organized, accessible, and ready to go.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and warehouse
- Perform 5S practices in both shop and warehouse areas
- Clean and organize the oil room; empty used oil drums and stage for pickup
- Manage load bank storage and cables, including staging for pickup and putting away as needed
- Perform DOT checks on all rental trailers and load banks
- Run spare trucks during winter to ensure they start; arrange oil changes as needed
- Pull parts for technicians and deliver parts to field locations as required
- Complete the rental check-in and check-out process and related paperwork
- Deliver rentals and cables as assigned
- Pick up and deliver engines from Generac
- Provide backup support for parts operations and shipping/receiving
- Assist with warranty parts cleanup and work order shelf review
- Perform truck inventories and assist with monthly physical inventories
- Collect oil and fuel samples and prepare for shipment
- Assist in second-hand area management (e.g., handling 8D batteries)
- Stock supplies in upstairs storage areas
- Participate in optional online learning modules for engines and generators (Kohler, Yanmar, ADP)
- Perform other duties as assigned to support shop and warehouse operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or similar setting
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Certified to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, etc.)
- Proficient with basic computer systems and data entry
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs with proper support and aids
- Comfortable working in various environments, including moderate to loud noise levels and seasonal weather conditions
Bonus Points For:
- Awareness of lean business principles
- Basic mechanical knowledge of engines and generators
- Willingness to explore online training modules (Kohler, Yanmar, ADP)
