Duties
- Conduct outside sales activities to promote insurance products and services, expanding the client base through proactive outreach and relationship building.
- Engage in negotiation with clients to tailor insurance packages that meet their individual needs while ensuring company profitability.
- Manage sales administration tasks, including processing policies, maintaining accurate records, and following up on leads.
- Provide expert advice on various insurance options, explaining coverage details and benefits clearly to clients.
- Assist with benefits administration and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client information.
- Utilize analysis skills to assess client needs, recommend suitable policies, and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling.
- Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional campaigns and community outreach efforts.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining ongoing client relationships.
- Conduct telemarketing calls as part of outreach efforts to generate new leads and renew existing policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage clients and close deals.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively.
- Experience with sales administration, benefits administration, or marketing is a plus.
- Excellent analysis skills for assessing client needs and recommending appropriate insurance solutions.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service while adhering to confidentiality standards such as HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in telemarketing or related roles is advantageous but not required.
