Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EEC certified Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Develop age-appropriate activities that promote social-emotional skills, cognitive development, and physical growth in toddlers
- Collaborate with families to support individual learning needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services
- Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, including assessments and standardized testing results
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that adheres to child welfare and childcare regulations
- Incorporate curriculum development techniques that enhance childhood development and literacy education while encouraging creativity and exploration
Experience
- Valid EEC (Early Education and Care) certification with a focus on toddler care
- Proven classroom experience working with children aged 1-3 years in daycare or preschool settings
- Strong background in early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories
- Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies tailored for toddlers
- Familiarity with working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with young children, families, and team members
- Prior experience in private school or child care center environments is advantageous
