What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roustabout Crew Pusher - Williston position at Wolla Trucking, LLC & Wolla Oilfield Services, LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily workflow of the assigned roustabout crew.
- Provide ongoing training, supervision, and development for Roustabouts, ensuring efficient and productive job performance.
- Provide transportation to/from the job site for the crew, using a company vehicle and possibly a trailer, which may require a commercial driver's license. Regularly clean, inspect, and maintain the company vehicle and all other assigned equipment by collaborating closely with mechanics/supervisors.
- Securely and safely transport equipment needed for the job, adhering to company policy and DOT regulations.
- Ensure the crew has all required safety and work equipment, and make sure all equipment and PPE are inspected, cleaned, or maintained regularly for proper function and safe use.
- Complete and document a Job Safety Analysis and Pre-Job Safety Meeting regarding possible hazards upon arriving at a work location, prior to starting each job.
- Complete and submit Field Tickets or other documents showing work time for the crew.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with field management regarding jobs, hazards, needs, employees, etc.
- Comply with all company and location Safety/DOT policies to work safely in a potentially hazardous environment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Supervise activities of Roustabout Laborers to ensure employee skill development and safety.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, have the ability to operate a company vehicle, and meet the necessary insurance requirements.
- Set pumping units, batteries, and treaters, and perform maintenance work on wells, pumping units, and treaters.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment, ensuring it functions and operates properly.
- Capable and resourceful in lining up equipment for consecutive jobs requested by the customer.
- Ensure quality products and services are provided to the customer.
- Knowledge of equipment and tools commonly used in the oil and gas industry.
- Basic math knowledge for common calculations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge and ability to use computers and software such as Microsoft Office, email, timekeeping programs, invoicing, etc.
- Effective communication skills with employees, managers, and all other relevant third parties involved with the jobs performed, including typing, speaking, reading, writing, and hearing.
- Physical fitness and ability to work long hours in a demanding outdoor environment. A Fit for Duty assessment is required.
