What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Wolfspeed, Inc.?
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, or move around assigned work location without limitation for extended periods of time (i.e. up to 6 hours at a time)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to chest height.
- Load, unload, and transport chemical materials using forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Follow all hazardous material (Hazmat) handling procedures
- Follow all Wolfspeed documented procedures
- Adhere to all Wolfspeed EHS and DOT regulations
Perform cycle counts and inventory checks (Oracle & SAP)
Maintain accurate inventory records
- Industrial chemical environment involving hazardous materials
- Work may involve regulated storage spaces, elevated areas, and varying temperatures
- Must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment or PPE (i.e. safety toe shoes, eye protection, gloves, etc.)
