Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney with 35 years including some federal court and/or removal experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of immigration law, particularly removal proceedings, and a background in federal court practice. This position can be performed largely remotely, with in-person appearances needed on occasion in the greater LA area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in immigration removal and/or federal court proceedings
- Draft legal briefs, motions, petitions, and other pleadings for federal courts.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Manage a caseload of complex immigration matters.
- Collaborate with legal team members, including supervising attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
- Stay current with evolving immigration laws and policies.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to California bar.
- 35 years of experience in immigration removal defense, with a focus on federal litigation.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Salary : $130,000 - $180,000
