We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager to join our office in Skokie, IL. This position is ideal for someone who excels at client relationship management, strategic account planning, and revenue growth.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with a portfolio of high-value clients. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction while identifying opportunities to expand business within assigned accounts. This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role requiring a proactive approach to relationship management and sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main liaison between the company and key clients, ensuring timely communication and exceptional customer service.
- Develop a deep understanding of client business needs, goals, and industry trends to provide customized solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships that drive repeat business and loyalty.
- Monitor and report on key account performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Operations, and Product Development to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Lead account reviews, presentations, and contract negotiations with key stakeholders.
- Track sales activity, forecasts, and client communications using CRM tools.
- Resolve client issues promptly and effectively, coordinating internal resources as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of managing and growing key customer accounts.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
