Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Unarmed Security Officer, based in Lansing, MI. The Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, monitoring and reporting suspicious behavior, ensuring the safety of property and individuals, enforcing safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires maintaining detailed records of daily activities, observations, and incidents.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in surveillance, patrolling, and access control
- Detail-oriented with strong observational and reporting skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities for reporting and interaction
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency or high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness sufficient to perform tasks such as walking for extended periods or responding to incidents
