Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Commissioned Security Officer to uphold safety and security standards across our facilities. Duties

• Verify age before entering establishment.
• Wand each individual of any contraband weapons or paraphernalia
• Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established procedures, including fire safety protocols, first aid administration, AED operation, and emergency response coordination.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform physical security tasks such as patrolling designated areas, heavy lifting when necessary, and manual handling of security equipment.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external assistance.
• Operate access control systems including biometric scanners, card readers, and Taser devices where applicable.
• Engage with visitors and staff through exceptional customer service while maintaining strict security protocols.
• Enforce compliance with all security regulations and company policies to uphold safety standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement or related fields is highly desirable.
• Valid licensing or certification as a Commissioned Security Officer according to local regulations.
• Strong understanding of emergency response procedures including CPR, first aid, AED operation, and fire safety protocols.
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling safely.
• Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail and clarity.
• Skilled in conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies.
• Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and performing background checks when necessary.
• Exceptional customer service skills combined with a professional demeanor under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, or irregular shifts as required.
