Job Details:
As a Website Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing and executing website design, development, and transfer. You’ll also handle ad landing page creation, edits, and assist with website hosting for clients. This role will also include some graphic design and branding projects. This full-time, hourly position is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience with WordPress who’s eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.
Preferred candidates should not be planning to actively freelance after accepting this position. They should also have a strong eye for aesthetics and well as functionality. This position will NOT be heavy in hard coding.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a talented Website Design Specialist to join our growing team. You will play a key role in creating, managing, and enhancing client websites. A background in website design, WordPress, and client service is required.
Responsibilities
Website Management:
- Manage and oversee website design, development, and transfer.
- Experiment with new website builders and design strategies.
- Optimize website performance, security, and user experience.
- Manage website hosting for clients and resolve technical issues.
Branding and Graphic Design:
- Support other design-related projects as needed including branding servicing, logo design, ad copy creation, and more
Client Communication:
- Provide regular updates to clients on project status.
- Address client questions and offer strategic recommendations via phone calls and meetings.
- Assist answering the office phone line
- Assist in website clients onboarding.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Support with other digital marketing related tasks.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience with WordPress
- Eye for ascetics and design
- Strong understanding of website design principles
- Ability to use Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with website hosting platforms
- Familiarity with simple HTML/CSS
- Graphic design and branding abilities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team while managing multiple projects
- Must be located in Florida
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $20-$21/hour - those wit experience may be ab le to negotiate a higher starting rate
- Raises and Bonuses: Quarterly based on measurable performance improvements (e.g., ad performance, client retention, etc).
- Schedule: Full-time, hourly
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
