Vinyl Siding Installer

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vinyl Siding Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality vinyl siding on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and adherence to safety standards. Duties

• Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately determine siding requirements.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, or removing existing materials such as stucco, drywall, or masonry to ensure proper siding adhesion.
• Install vinyl siding using hand tools and power tools while following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
• Use ladders, scaffolding, and construction safety harnesses to access elevated areas safely during installation.
• Perform roofing repairs including single-ply membrane roofing, metal roofing, or tile laying as needed for project completion.
• Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weather-tight finishes; perform restoration work on damaged or aging siding structures.
• Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety harnesses and proper ladder use techniques.
• Lift heavy materials safely during installation processes; manage construction site cleanliness and organization throughout projects.
• Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and ensure precise execution of siding installation projects.
• Assist with other exterior remodeling tasks such as masonry, metal stud framing, concrete forming, drywall finishing, or handyman repairs when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in siding installation, roofing (including metal roofing), or related construction fields.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading technical plans or drawings.
• Knowledge of construction safety workplace regulations and proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, scaffolding, and power tools.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, caulking guns, and other relevant equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling and installation tasks.
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions; comfort working at heights using ladders or scaffolding.
• Strong understanding of construction site procedures including restoration work, remodeling projects, tile laying, drywall finishing, masonry work, and stucco application.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise siding placement.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence while maintaining high-quality workmanship throughout each project.
