Join Our Mission: Peer Support Specialist (Full-Time)
Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas
Schedule: 40 hours/week | Monday–Friday | Occasional weekends & holidays
Pay: $16.50/hour (based on experience & education)
Reports to: Program Development Manager
About the Role
Are you passionate about recovery and ready to make a real impact in your community? The Wolfe Street Foundation is seeking a dedicated Peer Support Specialist to provide one-on-one peer support to individuals on their recovery journey from substance addiction. As a key member of our Recovery Community Organization (RCO), you’ll help guide, support, and empower others while modeling long-term recovery and ethical best practices.
What You’ll Do
Direct Peer Support
- Conduct intake assessments and manage participant documentation
- Lead peer coaching sessions and develop personalized recovery plans
- Connect participants with essential recovery services
- Advocate for peers in healthcare, justice, and treatment systems
- Maintain accurate records and support participants through challenges
- Promote multiple recovery pathways without bias
Community Engagement & RCO Activities
- Facilitate small group education and support sessions
- Take leadership roles in community events and advocacy efforts
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment at WSF
- Supervise volunteers and support event execution
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with internal staff and external partners
- Support the overall success of the Peer Recovery Support Services Program
What You Bring
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Registered as a Peer in Training (PIT) in Arkansas
Preferred:
- Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PR) in Arkansas
- Experience in peer recovery, addiction services, or treatment settings
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Self-motivated with leadership experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $16.50

- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend needs

- Relocation: Must be able to relocate to Hot Springs before starting
