Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire payroll cycle from data collection to payroll processing and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Maintain and update payroll records and employee information.
- Coordinate with HR and accounting departments on payroll issues and reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports accurately and on time.
- Conduct periodic audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay current with changes in payroll laws and technology to keep payroll operations up-to-date and efficient.
- Supervise payroll staff, if applicable, and provide training as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting (preference for multi-state or complex environment payroll.)
