Part-Time | 4:00 AM–8:00 AM | 8–12 hours per week to start
Wolfe & Kensington is a premium clear cocktail ice company supplying upscale bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and events across NJ and NYC. We are adding an early morning production shift at our Valley Cottage location and looking for someone dependable who enjoys working with their hands.
Schedule
- 4:00 AM–8:00 AM, with flexibility for 5:00 AM–9:00 AM if that works better.
- Start with 2–3 shifts per week (approximately 8–12 hours).
- Opportunity to grow to 4–5 shifts per week (approximately 16–20 hours) as production volume increases.
- Specific days can be discussed based on your availability and production needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cutting clear ice blocks using a chainsaw and bandsaw, following safe operating procedures.
- Producing consistent, cleanly cut premium ice and checking quality.
- Packaging ice into retail and wholesale bags.
- Preparing and staging orders for delivery.
- Learning other production equipment and CNC engraving as needed.
- Keeping the workspace clean and organized and following repeatable production processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual for an early morning start.
- Able to work independently once trained and stay productive.
- Comfortable with physical work, lifting, standing, and working in a cold environment.
- Careful attention to detail and consistent product quality.
- Willing to learn equipment operation and follow safety procedures.
Helpful Experience (Not Required)
- Tools, machinery, or shop work.
- Bandsaw, CNC, warehouse, or production experience.
- Food handling or packaging experience.
Work Environment
- In person at 173 Route 303, Valley Cottage, NY 10989.
- Walk-in freezer (approximately 20°F).
- Physical, active production work; PPE provided.
- Small team with clear expectations and room to grow.
Pay: $20–$25 per hour.
