Regional Sales Manager coordinates, facilitates, and communicates directly with customers about product while significantly supporting and influencing sales. Assist team with build out, upsell, cross-sell, renewal, and expansion campaigns to bring in new revenue for the company. Generating opportunities, Inbound leads, identifies features and benefits, with solution base approach, overcomes customer objections, retain and hunt to close sales. Directly supports the VP of Sales and Sales Team.
In this role you will:
- Develop New Business.
- Identify new business opportunities for product expansion.
- Execute on company directives in new market segments.
- Accountable for goals and execution of programs.
- Account development and implement strategic business strategies.
- Aggressively growing existing accounts by implementing product training and safety certifications.
- Develop & maintain clear communication regarding sales team initiatives.
- Take ownership of all related documents and customer request(s) thru proactive communication and activities documenting this support in NetSuite.
- Maintain and grow group of accounts assigned.
- Train for and effectively participate in Tradeshows; may include occasional travel.
- Become the “voice of the customer” and communicate feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Oversee sales and promotion opportunities
- Mentor and motivate outside sales representation
About You:
- Complete understanding of Odoo ERP/CRM functions, responsibilities necessary to complete required tasks.
- Use selling techniques to build upon existing sales.
- Must be able to complete calls assigned and perform with high quality and effectiveness.
- Must be able to perform or learn the requirements of the job in the assigned learning period.
- 5 years sales experience in a related industry, volume-based hunter, cold calls, and retention.
- Provide previous experience sales portfolio.
- Must be willing to travel
- Communicate daily to supervisor on team production, and any potential problems.
- Participate in sales team meetings to establish goals, process, procedure & give feedback
- Ability to identify and escalate priority issues.
- Maintain current knowledge of all Edge Eyewear products, including discontinued, and be able to discuss the features and benefits.
- Maintain current knowledge of all Direct Marketing pieces and promotions.
- Maintain current knowledge and follow all Company and department procedures and policies.
- Communication to supervisor daily on any progress not being made and low calls reported, daily progress of all assigned tasks.
- Motivated towards meeting and/or exceeding individual and team goals.
- Work as a team and share/communicate ideas and information with peers.
