We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen eye for detail. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers. Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their purchases.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling practices are followed.
- Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, including merchandising displays.
- Assist with stocking shelves and inventory management as needed.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new items or promotions.
- Utilize strong phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
- Must be able to fill Propane tanks
Experience
- Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience in merchandising and stocking is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as communication with diverse customers is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are required.

Pay: $16.66 - $18.50 per hour
