Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The main job for this post it to monitor cameras and open a gate to a gated community. We have part time and full time available, both with a pay rate of $15/hr. This position requires strong observational skills as well as the ability to respond quickly and effectively to incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cameras and alarm systems for signs of property intrusion.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, assessing threats and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises.
- Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when needed to address security concerns.
Skills
- Proven experience in security roles is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and familiar with CCTV operation.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
