We are seeking an experienced Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine to lead our kitchen, which features a fast-casual menu of fresh, wok-cooked dishes. We are looking for someone with experience preparing dishes similar to those served in popular American Chinese restaurants, with a strong focus on consistency, speed, and flavor.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Chinese-inspired entrées and side dishes in a high-volume kitchen.
- Operate commercial wok stations efficiently during service.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and minimizing food waste.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience cooking American Chinese cuisine in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Experience preparing dishes such as:
- Beijing Beef
- Broccoli Beef
- Kung Pao Chicken
- Sweet & Sour Shrimp
- Honey Walnut Shrimp
- Chow Mein
- Fried Rice
- Strong wok cooking skills.
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and food safety practices.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
