What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grower position at Wojo's Greenhouse?
To grow annual flats. pots, Mums, Poinsettias, seedlings, and Hanging baskets to our specifications in a comercial greenhouse setting.
Understanding how to control the environment for each desired plant growth.
Understanding how water, nutrition, temperature, light, soil pH inputs control the growth of your crop.
Able to identify insects, disease and viruses.
Plant growth regulator knowledge.
responsible for taking the necessary steps to grow and high quality crop for our guests.
This position is somewhat seasonal. Many hour of overtime available March- June
Pesticide applicators license, prior growing experience required.
mechanical skills a plus

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Commercial Greenhouse Production: 2 years (Required)
- growing of annual bedding plants in a production greenhouse: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Pesticide Applicator’s License (Preferred)
