Job Summary
The Accounting and Administrative Support Associate supports the Firm by performing a combination of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax payment, financial reporting, consulting support, and administrative office functions. This role contributes to the timely preparation of accounting, bookkeeping, and consulting activities for the Firm’s clients while also providing responsible and confidential administrative support to help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.

Accounting, Bookkeeping, Payroll, and Tax Support
- Enter weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll in QuickBooks.
- Prepare and submit weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll tax payments.
- Prepare and submit monthly sales tax payments.
- Reconcile monthly bank accounts.
- Prepare financial statement reports.
- Prepare and file payroll tax forms with federal and state government agencies.
- Support special consulting projects, including data entry, verification of data entry, file organization, and related tasks.
Administrative and Office Support
- Answer general phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate staff.
- Open and distribute mail.
- Manage the conference room schedule and coordinate meeting set-ups.
- Maintain paper and electronic files.
- Help organize and maintain office common areas.
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional, welcoming manner.
- Maintain office supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent preferred.
- Three (3) years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- One (1) year of administrative office experience in a fast-paced office preferred.
- Experience working for a public accounting firm preferred.
- Experience working with Indian Tribes and related entities preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to travel, including driving and flying, approximately 10% of the time
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
