Overview
Woelber Excavating, LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy construction equipment, trucks, and support vehicles. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual who takes pride in keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drivetrains
- Perform preventative maintenance on construction equipment and highway trucks
- Complete inspections and identify needed repairs before failures occur
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
- Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Respond to occasional field service calls

Qualifications
- 3 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics
- Ability to read service manuals and wiring diagrams
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in indoor and outdoor environments

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
