Equipment Operator – Underground Utilities
Woelber Excavating is a trusted heavy civil underground contractor specializing in water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer construction. We’re looking for experienced, reliable Equipment Operators who take pride in high‑quality work and want to be part of a strong, professional crew.
What You’ll Do
- Operate excavators, loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment
- Excavate accurate, safe trenches for utility installation
- Work closely with pipe layers and laborers to maintain grade and production
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Assist with ground work as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized jobsite
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience operating heavy equipment in underground utility or civil construction
- Ability to dig to grade, work around utilities, and maintain alignment
- Reliable, hardworking, and team‑oriented
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license required
- Pay and employment will be accessed after a 30 day performance review
