What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Internship position at WODI?
Company Description WODI is an AI-first neobanking platform enabled by VISA that transforms local corner stores into global bank branches, allowing financial institutions to scale without the high cost of building new locations. The platform connects over 160 countries through virtual VISA cards, instant cross-border transfers, and an agency network of more than 10,000 retail locations. WODI serves banks, enterprises, businesses, and consumers with tools for global payments, AI-driven compliance, and multi-language customer support. Every user gains access to proprietary AI agents—such as finance analysts, legal assistants, accountants, and marketing strategists—to help manage cash flow, plan growth, and improve financial health.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Summer Internship role based in Washington, DC. Interns will support cross-functional teams with market research, competitive analysis, and data gathering on neobanking, AI, and financial inclusion trends. Daily tasks may include helping prepare presentations, drafting product or marketing materials, and documenting internal processes. Interns will assist with testing features on the WODI platform, gathering user feedback, and organizing findings for product and operations teams. The role also involves collaborating with team members across product, operations, and marketing, participating in planning meetings, and contributing to special projects as assigned.
