Position Summary:

As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a key leadership role in bringing our projects to life from start to finish. You’ll be the on-site driver of quality, schedule, safety, and coordination—ensuring every phase of construction runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems in real time, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Who You’ll Report To:

The Superintendent reports to the Field Operations Coordinator and Project Executive as determined by the organizational structure of the project team.

What You’ll Own:

  • You will take ownership of daily field operations and serve as the key leader on-site, ensuring the project stays on track, on budget, and up to quality standards. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and driving the project schedule from preconstruction through closeout, including identifying critical paths, tracking progress, and proactively managing delays.
  • You’ll coordinate closely with subcontractors, vendors, and the Project Manager to ensure materials, submittals, and work sequencing support field progress. You will create and maintain a three-week look-ahead schedule each week and share updates with the project team every Friday, while also leading weekly subcontractor meetings to keep everyone aligned.
  • A key part of your role will be monitoring subcontractor performance, identifying risks or delays, and working with the Project Manager to address non-compliance or scope issues quickly and effectively. You’ll help resolve field challenges by referencing drawings, scopes, and contract documents, escalating issues when needed, and ensuring clear communication across the team.
  • You will maintain strong oversight of quality control, ensuring all work meets drawings, specifications, and safety standards. This includes daily site inspections, tracking compliance, and ensuring proper documentation such as daily logs, SWPPP requirements, Davis-Bacon reporting, and schedule updates are completed accurately and on time.
  • You will also support coordination efforts including ASIs, RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and unit turnover activities. From jobsite setup to final closeout, you will help ensure every phase of the project is organized, efficient, and well-executed.
  • In addition, you’ll actively contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes, enhance scheduling accuracy, and improve field operations. You will attend kickoff meetings, turnover meetings, and department meetings to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
Qualifications:

Who You Are:

  • You are a strong communicator who can confidently lead teams, coordinate multiple moving parts, and keep projects moving forward under pressure. You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable making quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • You understand how to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and you’re confident navigating contract documents and construction requirements. You take ownership of your work, hold yourself and others accountable, and know how to keep a jobsite running safely, efficiently, and professionally.
  • You are adaptable, solution-focused, and comfortable stepping into challenges head-on while maintaining strong working relationships across field and office teams.

What You’ll Bring:

  • You bring a High School Diploma or equivalent, with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • You have 8–10 years of construction experience, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates with slightly less experience.
  • You either hold OSHA certification or are willing to obtain required certifications. Physical Requirements:
