Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections, adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards
• Decorate cakes and desserts with creative flair, ensuring visually appealing presentation
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, measuring ingredients with precision using basic math skills
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following food safety protocols and sanitation standards
• Assist in food handling processes during high-volume production periods to meet customer demands
• Support catering events or restaurant service by preparing food items in accordance with specifications

Experience

• Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation within a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of cake decorating techniques and pastry arts
• Hands-on experience with food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
• Previous work in the food industry or restaurant setting demonstrating high-volume production capabilities
• Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members
• Culinary experience that includes recipe adherence, food preparation, and maintaining a clean workspace
