The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, walk, use hands,
talk and hear. The employee may be required to reach with hands and arms above their head or reach forward, sit, squat, stoop or kneel. The employee must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications
Desired applicants should be caring professionals who are motivated to work with students with disabilities, develop new skills, and work very well as part of a team. Experience preferred with Special Education students, (but not required).
Minimum High School Diploma required; Associates Degree or Bachelors preferred.

- Support students academically, emotionally, behaviorally, socially in the school setting.
- Oversee the overall well-being and care of students throughout the school day.
- Work collaboratively with other staff in the room.
- Ability to take the initiative and work independently.
- Maintain a calm, neutral demeanor as a role model for students.
- Demonstrate reliability, organization and sound judgment.
- Any other duties as assigned by Principal and Special Ed Teachers
