What are the responsibilities and job description for the 19A Certified Examiner Bus Driver Trainer position at WNY BUS CO?
WNY Bus Company is currently looking for an experienced 19A examiner with transportation background and administrative experience. We provide school transportation to many districts in WNY. Since our company is rapidly growing, we are in an immediate need for an addition to our team. Must have knowledge of NYS DMV, SED requirements, filing of paperwork and file maintenance. The right candidate will have the following requirements:
- Minimum (2) years experience in transportation
- Have current and valid 19A certified examiner card
- Associates Degree
- Familiar with running reports and performance reviews
- Able to work well in any type of situation
- Works well unsupervised and supervised
- Detail and task orientated
- Goal Driven
- Completes Tasks efficiently and quickly
The ideal candidate will also have experience in the transportation industry, a CDL holder and a NYS certified 19A examiner to maintain files and compliance. Preference given to those that hold SBDI certification as well.
This position also includes daily hours training students to prepare for their roadtest and obtain their CDL. We are very proud of our paid training program and our graduate success rate!

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
