Role Description
This full-time hybrid Senior Electrical Engineer position is based in Pittsburgh, PA. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and evaluating electrical systems, preparing plans and schematics, ensuring compliance with industry codes, and managing power distribution or power systems projects. The role also includes collaborating with clients and other team members, overseeing junior engineers, conducting site visits as needed, and supporting construction administration and quality control processes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Electrical Design of building systems
- Proficiency in power distribution and various power systems
- Strong ability to interpret and apply electrical codes and standards
- Project management experience, including managing interdisciplinary teams and mentoring junior staff
- Proficiency with relevant design software and tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is strongly preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
