Job Description: Accounting Clerk
Location: On-site (El Segundo, CA 90245)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Reports to: President
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations—including invoicing, accounts payable, and payroll—while also supporting general administrative functions to ensure smooth office operations. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare, issue, and track client invoices in a timely and accurate manner
· Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and client collections
· Reconcile bank statements and financial records
· Process company payroll and ensure compliance with applicable laws and deadlines
· Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting and audits
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation
· Perform general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
· Order and maintain office supplies and equipment
· Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate office calendars
· Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Proficiency in Intuit QuickBooks and T-Sheets.
· 2 years of experience in accounting or book keeping (accounts receivable and accounts payable).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle, Procore, etc.)
Preferred:
· Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
· Experience with payroll systems and administrative support
· Experience with construction billing (residential, commercial, electrical)
· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: $30 - $36/hour
