I. Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Optimization is responsible for leading enterprise HR operating model initiatives, driving cross-functional programs, and embedding continuous improvement frameworks to enable scalable, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. This role acts as a strategic connector between HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Finance, and Technology, ensuring transformation initiatives are aligned, executed with discipline, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of HR operating model transformation initiatives (e.g., tiered delivery, centralization, governance models)
- Manage end-to-end program delivery for complex, cross-functional initiatives, including roadmap, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Facilitate Kaizen and continuous improvement workshops to identify root causes, define future state processes, and drive alignment
- Develop and standardize process frameworks and toolkits (SIPOC, process flows, playbooks, intake models)
- Drive data and process optimization, partnering with HR systems teams to improve data integrity, workflows, and automation
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and increase scalability
- Establish and track performance metrics (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency, quality, and adoption
- Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to ensure alignment, governance, and successful execution
- Support change management efforts, including communication, training, and adoption strategies
- Provide executive-level updates and insights, translating progress into clear business impact
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree accredited) in Business Administration, Organizational Strategy, Human Resources, or related field.
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited), and 4 years of relevant work experience
- 7 years of progressive leadership experience in HR strategy, transformation, or enterprise project management.
B. Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field.
- Experience leading operating model design and implementation.
