As an FP&A Intern focused on Accounts Receivable strategy, you will work on initiatives that directly impact cash flow and financial efficiency

- Analyze AR aging, delinquency trends, and payment behavior across customers, regions, or business units
- Identify root causes of overdue receivables, including process gaps, billing issues, customer behavior, or policy design
- Partner with accounting, credit, and operations teams to understand current AR processes and controls
- Develop data-driven recommendations to improve collections effectiveness, reduce DSO, and improve forecast accuracy
- Support the design of KPIs, dashboards, or reporting tools that provide clearer visibility into AR performance
- Assist with special finance projects related to cash flow optimization, process improvement, and financial discipline
This role is ideal for a student who enjoys working with large data sets, asking “why” behind the numbers, and thinking strategically about how financial processes can be improved.

A. Education and Experience
- Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Experience: No prior work experience required
- Preferred: Experience or coursework related to Accounts Receivable, commercial credit, collections, or cash flow analysis
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
- None required
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
- Ability to work starting mid-May- August (full time schedule) or June - December (full time schedule)
- Interest in financial strategy, process improvement, or consulting-style problem solving
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret financial data

The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $21.75-$25/hr. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
