The Internship Experience As a WM Intern, you won't be sitting on the sidelines, you'll be in the mix. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real projects that make an impact for WM. Location: This role will support sites at and around Danville, IN.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Uses problem solving skills, determines problems, and understand fundamental parts of the problem.
Conducts analysis as directed, and prepares and delivers insights and recommendations based on analysis.
Synthesizes findings and draws conclusions from analyses and makes oral/written recommendations to supervisor and/or manager.
Executes tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
Communicates issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility.
Please note that you’re expected to do 50% of travel (day travel) in relation to your work.
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
Interns must have a High school diploma or GED (accredited) and be pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree (accredited) in a field of study relevant to the internship.
B. Preferred Qualifications
Perusing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
