Job Summary:
Enter vendor invoices into the system and match purchase orders. Work with the Finance Team to ensure paperwork is complete and payments can be made. Issue checks and file documentation. Manage employee credit cards accounting and disbursements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Gather and enter vendor invoices.
- Collaborate with users to obtain missing documentation.
- Prepare checks, issue, and file documentation.
- Perform credit card receipting and accounting.
- Complete credit applications, 1099s, etc.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Answer phones.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Process and detail oriented to ensure accuracy of and timely payment of vendor invoices.
- Ability to handle significant workloads from time to time and decide priorities.
- Knowledge of applicable sales tax law for multiple jurisdictions.
- Construction-specific knowledge is a plus.
- Collaboration and communication with variety of internal and external personnel
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in Accounting or Business
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
FLSA Classification:
- Hourly, Non-Exempt
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in a standard office environment
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Standard work hours: 8:00-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
