Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic Licensed Therapist / Counselor to join our dynamic mental health team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, or applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions focused on mental health counseling, behavioral management, trauma recovery (including PTSD care), grief counseling, and gender issues counseling.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or chronic pain conditions.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing medical terminology effectively.
• Engage in clinical research activities or data collection projects aimed at improving treatment outcomes and advancing behavioral health practices.

Skills

• Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavior management strategies.
• Proficiency in motivational interviewing to foster client engagement and facilitate change.
• Strong background in child & family counseling, working with children, pediatrics, special education populations, and individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9 & ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation.
• Experience delivering telehealth services using secure platforms to expand access to care remotely.
• Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention and crisis management skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health conditions; experience working within inpatient or outpatient clinical settings is preferred.
• Competence in managing patient care through patient assessment, case management, and diagnostic evaluation processes. Pay: $69,442.55 - $83,629.73 per year
