Our products consist of New England Coffee, Luzianne Iced Tea, Blue Plate Mayonnaise, Swans Down Cake Flour, and Carroll Shelby Chili (to name a few) and can be found in retail locations around the country.
Job Summary: The Accounts Receivable Clerk will ensure timely payment for products and services by recording payments timely, resolving payment differences accurately and quickly and collecting outstanding and aged balances.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Process customer payments in a timely manner.
- Proactively manage customer balance currency. Follow-up with customers on aging and delinquent accounts.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and deductions timely by communicating with customers and cross-functional partners
- Execute various processes, journals, and tasks as needed for end of period (EOP) and end of year (EOY)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience: The minimum requirements below are representative of the education and experience required to perform this job successfully.
- High school diploma/GED
- A minimum of three years of accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Receivable

- Proficient in MS Office Programs, intermediate knowledge in Excel
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and listening skills with demonstrated ability to resolve issues with poise and tact in a timely manner
- Ability to problem solve independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- ERP experience a plus
- Positive attitude and team player that works collaboratively to reach team goals
- Demonstrates initiative by looking for ways to improve efficiency and willingness to take on new tasks
