What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tree Service seeking Groundspersons position at WJ Tree Service?
Very reputable Tree Service in Southeastern CT is looking for grounds-persons. Experience is preferred but willing to train the right person. Looking for a full time position.
-MUST have a valid Connecticut drivers license
-MUST show up to work on time daily
-Knowledge of chainsaw and wood chipper operation, knots and rope work is preferred
We work rain or shine, hot or cold, all year. This work is challenging and physical.
You must know how to to drive a truck under 26,000 GVW and be able to drive towing a trailer. You must be able to back up a trailer as well.
Applicants will be asked to pass a drug test and a DOT medical exam BEFORE date of hire.
Pay is determined by experience level. We will start the right person immediately.
