WiZiX Technology Group – Purchaser - Parts Specialist
We are looking for a qualified candidate to manage day-to-day parts and supplies procurement, inventory control, and order tracking. You'll play a key role in keeping our service operations running smoothly by ensuring parts and supplies arrive to technicians and customers on time.
Job Responsibilities
- Source and purchase OEM and compatible parts, toner, developer and consumables for Kyocera, Ricoh, Toshiba, Brother, and other major MFP brands.
- Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels to support field technicians and reduce machine downtime.
- Track order status, monitor backorders, and proactively communicate with service and warehouse teams.
- Research substitute parts and cost-saving alternatives while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with the supplies orders team to prioritize urgent orders for customers.
- Analyze inventory and vendor stock to determine optimal order fulfillment (drop ship vs. warehouse ship) for each order.
- Manage warehouse space by regularly mapping new bin locations for changing parts and supplies inventory levels.
- General warehouse work.
Requirements and Skills
- Experience with Excel and data management inside a business management system (eAutomate, SAP, NetSuite, etc.) is a plus
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Preferred familiarity with OEM vs remanufactured parts and MFP consumables
- Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check
- Strong stable work history
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, walk up and down stairs, bend down, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work at floor level, and walk long distances.
