- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
- Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, evidence organization, and trial strategy
- Meet monthly settlement targets based on caseload and case complexity
- Track and manage key performance metrics, including settlements per month, case movement, and overall case lifecycle
- Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution, ensuring consistent case progression with no stagnation
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal team members
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely and efficient case handling
- Ensure compliance with all court deadlines and procedural requirements while advancing cases efficiently through each phase
- Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
- Develop case strategies, evaluate liability and damages, and proactively move cases toward resolution
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail
- Experience handling depositions, hearings, and mediations
- 2 years of personal injury litigation experience preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Active license to practice law in Florida
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of Florida civil litigation procedures, court rules, and case management practices
