A prominent plaintiff’s law firm based in Teaneck, NJ, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury (Plaintiff) Litigation Paralegal /Case Manager to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate must possess 3-10 years of litigation experience. Previous litigation and personal injury experience are required. Medical malpractice experience is a plus. Candidates without the required experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to
- Handle all aspects of personal injury files from filing the complaint until the conclusion of the case
- Maintain frequent and compassionate communication with clients regarding case status, treatment progress, and legal steps
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement demands
- Coordinate with medical providers to obtain and summarize records and bills
- Prepare cases for arbitration, mediation, and trial as necessary
- Track deadlines and manage attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and appearances
- Self-starter who can work with little supervision, be extremely organized, and very detail-oriented
- Minimum 3 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury law (required)
- Strong understanding of New Jersey tort law, court procedures, and e-filing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in legal case management software
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Treat others with respect and contribute to a positive team environment
- Knowledge of Trial Pad and/or TrialWorks is a plus
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and PDF conversion software. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is necessary
- Knowledge of Local and State discovery rules
- Organization skills and attention to detail
