Responsibilities
- Support budget planning by providing accurate cost estimates for repairs and capital improvement initiatives.
- Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage the performance of maintenance staff.
- Evaluate building systems to determine necessary maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
- Create and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, including hiring, training, and performance oversight.
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance software systems.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance, including team leadership.
