Key responsibilities include:
- Effectively manage a classroom of children aged 4 yrs to 12 yrs old
- Engage students in fun and relevant coding & robotics lessons based on established curriculum and specific classroom needs
- Observe and track students’ progress and attendance
- Reinforce positive student behavior and session rules
- Maintain a positive relationship with all students, families, and staff
- Communicate with management to discuss member progress, needs, and concerns
Qualifications:
- Experience with elementary-aged children preferred
- Currently pursuing or holding a college degree
- Reliable transportation (most locations not near public transit)
- Dependable, punctual, and adaptable
- Able to pass a background check
- Tech-savvy or willing to learn (we provide training)
Compensation & Schedule:
This is a contract-to-hire (part-time) position.
- Pay: $25–$50/hour (based on role and experience)
- Hours: 2–5 hours/week (weekday mornings, after-school, and some weekends)
- Work Location: In-person at schools in the Triangle area, NC, with dedicated remote hours for training and lesson preparation
