At Wizards of the Coast, we’re seeking a contract Associate Global Events Manager to join our team to assist the Global Events Manager in producing the fast growing flagship convention series, MagicCon! Together you will conceptualize, plan and produce MagicCon by managing a team of internal and external staff. In this role you’ll travel internationally multiple times a year for week‑long events and work directly with the Global Manager to celebrate Magic: The Gathering and bring the game to life for tens of thousands of fans across the globe!

What You'll do:
- Coordinate detailed workback schedules across several departments and external partners
- Log budgets and coordinating POs/contracts with finance
- Function as the logistical and communication hub for cross‑functional leads in marketing, creative, content, merchandising, logistics, vendor/sponsor management, and venue operations.
- On‑site at each MagicCon, vendor coordination, staff management, panels, cosplay contests, and immersive activations, ensuring each touchpoint runs efficiently.
- Post‑event, you’ll compile quantitative and qualitative analysis to advise future iterations and strategic improvements.
- The ideal candidate brings 4 years in festival or convention‑scale event production or project management
- Strong organizational and fiscal oversight skills, proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g., Teams, Smartsheet, Excel)
- Excellent cross‑team communication, and the ability to thrive in fast paced environments
- A background in gaming/events, passion and understanding for Magic: The Gathering is highly preferred
- Starting Pay Range: $38.00 hourly
- Pay Range End: $43.00 hourly
