Event Production - Truck Driver (PART_TIME)

CHIEF OBJECTIVES OF THIS POSITION: TRUCK DRIVER: 

To deliver live event production equipment and custom fabrications to customers in a manner that will improve the Company’s efficiency and savings, help achieve the Company’s mission and goals, and result in optimizing optics and outstanding customer service.

Reports to: Director of Operations

General Responsibilities: The truck driver’s responsibilities involve pull, pack, delivery and pick-up, reporting, operations, service, safety and maintenance, and other duties as assigned by management. The truck driver will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the Company and a favorable image of the Company.

Delivery and Pickup: Delivery and pickup involve making deliveries and pick-ups in the most efficient, economical manner possible. Deliver product to and pick up the product from specified locations Develop and maintain an efficient routing system Ensure pull lists are complete before loading or delivery Develop and maintain an organized and efficient loading and unloading system Verify all items listed on the pull list are loaded and delivered

Reporting: Reporting involves reconciling all expenses quickly and accurately, submitting expense reports, and tickets, and letting your supervisor know about outstanding conditions related to the truck. Ensure all tickets presented to the office are correct Present a copy of each expense transaction to your supervisor each day Inform the supervisor of outstanding conditions related to the truck Inform your supervisor of potential problems or potential new business opportunities

Operations: Assist in maintaining efficient operations when not making deliveries or completing expense reports. Load and unload equipment Pick equipment from pull lists Replace equipment from returns

Service: Service involves providing customer service that will result in greater sales. Greet customers promptly and courteously with a friendly smile and a hello, and thank them for their business Assist customers with unloading and loading Promptly and courteously answer the phone Respond to after-hours calls from customers Work with customers to resolve problems and report complaints to your supervisor Actively work to increase personal skills and knowledge Wear a clean uniform and be neat Lose no customers due to the quality of service provided

Safety and Maintenance: Safety and maintenance involve delivering orders safely, following regulations, and safely operating and maintaining the delivery vehicle.

Follow regulations: Observe OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations Follow all company and regulatory agency safety policies Maintain a valid driver’s license

Operate delivery vehicle safely: Check lights and safety equipment daily Obey all traffic laws, including Driving within posted speed limits Stopping and looking for traffic at all stop signs Drive defensively Report any unsafe equipment or working conditions to your supervisor Allow no riders who have not been approved by your supervisor

Maintain the delivery vehicle: Wash the vehicle as weather and operating conditions require to maintain a clean vehicle Follow the regular vehicle maintenance schedule provided by your supervisor Report any needed repairs or special maintenance to your supervisor immediately

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Drivers must be 25 years old
• Drivers cannot have more than a total number of 3 points.
• Drivers must be licensed for at least 3 years
• Drivers cannot have multiple accidents on their record.

• Flexible working hours
• This position requires long hours seasonally
• Working on-call and occasional weekend work.
• Travel is required and is primarily local for site visits.
