- Wiz Kids Camps are seasonal youth camps that offer athletic and academic enrichment to participants.
- Various locations in the Chicago Metropolitan Area

- The top administrator with oversight for implementation of operating procedures and policies, the completion of risk assessments, and recording of incidents.
- Maintenance and administration of the camp site.
- Works closely with the HR Director and Operations Director in operations of the camp.
- Providing support/leadership for staff and participants.
- Evaluates staff on the implementation of weekly lesson plans, sports programming, and field trip management.
- Accountable for the whereabouts and safety of all campers and subordinate staff at all times.
- Informing parents of upcoming activities, child behavior, and injuries that occurred during camp hours.
- Leads weekly on-site staff meetings during the summer camp season.
- Support and mentor staff in their daily camp planning, problem solving, setting and achieving professional goals.
- Work closely with the Assistant Site Manager to ensure that property and equipment is well maintained.
- Observe and evaluate participant energy and safety during camp hours.
- Uphold Wiz Kids programming culture during summer camp season and provide direct support for staff including feedback and guidance.
- Parent interaction including being front of house and the first point of contact for any queries, complaints and/or site visits.
- Model professional behavior for staff, campers and volunteers.
- Mentor staff and volunteers during staff meetings and in the field.
- Willingness to comply with Suspected Child Abuse Reporting (Subsection (a)(6) of 325 ILCS 5-4).
- Additional duties as contracted.
- Prior experience in managing camp program activities, or other personnel supervisory experience (preferably in a childcare setting) is required.
- Bachelor's or an advanced degree in Sports Administration is highly preferred.
